 Die Journalistin Norah will in Wien einen Neuanfang wagen. Eine Bettlerin sagt ihr voraus, dass sie in sechs Wochen einen Mann namens Arthur Grimm töten werde. Anfangs gibt Norah dem Vorfall keine Beachtung, doch dann passieren merkwürdige Dinge.

 In 1978, a high-ranking spy from the Eastern Bloc defected to the West. Creators Adina Sădeanu and Kirsten Peters use this as a starting point for a game of spy poker between the CIA, Securitate, KGB and Stasi in which no one puts their cards on the table.

 Feeling nervous that the firm is not making enough money, Fish and Cage decide to hire another associate, a "rainmaker" who can bring in lucrative clients.
