 Reagon家族是纽约市有名的警察世家，一家几代人都在执法部门工作，有的还献出了生命。Frank Reagon（Tom Selleck）是纽约市警察局现任局长，也是Reagon家族的「掌门人」。他父亲Henry（Len Cariou）担任局长期间，曾因为政治上「处理失当」而惹过不少麻烦－－偏偏这位老警官非常固执，对自己做过的任何事情都没有悔意。如今「父债子偿」，Frank在管理庞大的警员队伍的同时，还要不停弥补父亲当年遗留的「老大难」问题。

 一对十二岁的双胞胎男孩 Zack(Dylan Sprouse)和Cody(Cole Sprouse)还有他们的妈妈是这所波斯顿高档Tipton酒店的长期住客。在这里，他们认识了新朋友London(Brenda Song)和Maddie(Ashley Tisdale)。Zack和Cody接二连三的恶作剧把Tipton旅馆变成了他们的游乐场。在搞笑、捣蛋、引发混乱的同时，也带着London和 Maddie疯了一回。 Outrageous shenanigans ensue when 12-year-old twin boys Zack (Dylan Sprouse) and Cody (Cole Sprouse) turn the upscale Boston hotel where they live (The Tipton) into their own personal playground. Living in a suite with their mom Carey, the boys often take their new friends London and Maddie along for the ride, as they cause mischief, mayhem, and various catastrophes in their elegant new digs.

 Season 5 finds Murder, She Wrote's intrepid Jessica Fletcher in fine sleuthing form, and venturing farther afield from Cabot Cove--a good thing, since at the rate the murders have been happening, that town would be nearly cleaned out. Some of the best episodes take place in more exotic locales like New York (dead man on the street, wearing just one shoe), Montana (a publishing convention gone horribly wrong) and West Virginia (two whistle-blowers at a coal company found gruesomely murdered). Angela Lansbury sparkles with determination and bonhomie, hitting her stride and then some. Jessica's own life backstory is even filled out tantalizingly, especially in the episode "The Last Flight of the Dixie Damsel," in which an investigation is launched into a mysterious cargo plane that is linked, she learns to her horror, to her late husband. The series' other delight is watching for cameos by stars of a certain age, and this season doesn't disappoint, with appearances by Roddy McDowall, Shelley Fabares, and Dinah Shore--but also some up-and-comers like Megan Mullally (proof positive that the Will & Grace whine was a put-on) and future satirist Bill Maher.

Weddings and Valentine’s Day, fashion shows and film shoots all combine to produce a heady, hedonistic cocktail where anything can, and does, happen. When Sam Franklin (Harman) attempts to check into Hotel Babylon in episode one, little does he know that his ex-wife, Juliet (Wilson-Jones), has been appointed as a trouble-shooter to either shut down or save the hotel. As the day unfolds some disturbing events threaten the hotel’s equilibrium and Sam decides to take matters into his own hands. Several phone calls later and Sam Franklin is the new owner of Hotel Babylon, much to his ex-wife’s annoyance. With a Bollywood style wedding, a celebrity magazine shoot, mafia gangsters and lots of guest stars checking in, series 4 will, in true Hotel Babylon style, keep audiences captivated and entertained all through the Summer. Hotel Babylon series 4 begins on Friday the 19th of June at 9:00pm on BBC ONE.
