　　Created by Emmy Award nominee Lee Eisenberg and Academy Award winner Siân Heder, the critically acclaimed series, which garnered a 95% Fresh Rotten Tomatoes score during its freshman season run, will return with eight brand new, inspiring stories.
　　“Little America” is influenced by true stories featured in Vox Media’s Epic Magazine and aims to share and celebrate the funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring and surprising stories of immigrants from all over the world living in America. Inspired by real stories of immigrants from around the world who are pursuing their American dream, the highly anticipated second season of “Little America” will feature performances from Phylicia Rashad, Alan S. Kim, Ki Hong Lee and more.
　　In addition to Eisenberg and Heder, the show’s executive producers include Kumail Nanjiani, Emily V. Gordon, Alan Yang, Natalie Sandy, Epic Magazine’s Joshuah Bearman, Joshua Davis and Arthur Spector. The series is produced for Apple TV by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

　　The stranded Colonials struggle to survive under the brutal Cylon rule of New Caprica, but when Galactica returns to save humanity, the fledgling Fleet resumes its search for Earth. The Cylons, after losing control on New Caprica, depart on their own mysterious quest for Earth.

　　In the wake of Eamon Cunningham’s death, the Kinsella family is thriving. However a new threat rears its head when members of a Turkish cartel inform the Kinsellas that Eamon owed a them sizable debt – and since they killed him, the debt is now theirs. Elsewhere, Viking is released from prison intent on making trouble, Amanda suffers a personal tragedy, and a looming presence from inside the family returns.
　　The new season will see the Kinsellas at the top of the game in Dublin, but killing Eamon Cunningham has created as many problems as it solved. They have incurred the wrath of an enemy even more dangerous than him. And where once there were unbreakable bonds of blood and family, now there is only suspicion, distrust, and resentment. But the greatest threat to the family emerges from within: in the shape of a ruthless, bullying, agent of chaos. Fortunately, from positions of great adversity the boldest plans are often forged. And so it is with the Kinsellas.
　　Returning cast includes Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Clare Dunne (Herself), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), Sam Keeley (Joe vs Carole), Emmett J. Scanlan (Peaky Blinders), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Outlander), and Yasmin Seky. Francis Magee also returns this season.

　　HBO的历史迷你剧John Adams，根据美国第二任总统John Adams的生平以及美国初期历史改编，Paul Giamatti主演，演员阵容强大，由于约翰·亚当斯在任恰值英美战争时期，所以同时还有大量英国演员加盟，大量服装道具都由BBC支持，所以场面上将是一部向罗马看齐的巨作。
　　约翰·亚当斯是托马斯·杰斐逊组成的《独立宣言》起草委员会的成员，是美国第一任副总统，后来又当选为总统（1797－1801），曾被誉为"美国独立的巨人"。由于他体型较为矮胖，因此有 "圆胖先生" 的称号。约翰·亚当斯任职期间在内政、外交方面均无明显成就，1800年竞选总统时被托马斯·杰斐逊击败。他和杰斐逊都是在美国独立五十周年纪念日──1826年7月4日去世的。其子约翰·昆西·亚当斯是美国第六任总统。
　　HBO推出的这部7集长的《约翰·亚当斯》，根据获得普利策大奖的同名畅销书改编，此书也是美国历史上最受欢迎的传记文学之一。该剧描绘了约翰·亚当斯波澜壮阔的一生（相对于美国人而言），特别是约翰·亚当斯对美国的立国之道及社会基础的贡献。美国所奉行的所谓 "自由" 、"民主"、"人权" 等基本政治理念，均萌芽于约翰·亚当斯执政时期。此外，该剧还集中介绍了约翰·亚当斯和他的妻子艾比盖尔的爱情故事。艾比盖尔不仅是约翰·亚当斯的爱人，也是他坚定的政治盟友和支撑亚当斯家族的主心骨，她和丈夫的爱情曾被美国人认为是 "美国历史上最感人的爱情故事之一"。
　　该剧由奥斯卡获奖演员Paul Giamatti和Laura Linney主演，著名导演Tom Hooper执导，Tom Hanks（汤姆·汉克斯）担任执行制片人。编剧Kirk Ellis曾撰写过《Into the West》的剧本，因此对历史题材的改编驾轻就熟。

　　该剧改编自小说《沙丘：姐妹会》，设定在《沙丘》保罗·厄崔迪崛起的一万年前，讲述哈克南的“姐妹”与威胁人类未来的危机作斗争，并创建了传说中的贝尼·杰瑟里特姐妹会。
