Season five officially began on December 12, 2010 on Adult Swim, with "Robot Chicken's DP Christmas Special",[3] and will contain a total of twenty episodes. The first of the 20 episodes are set to air the first of the official Season 5 episodes on January 9 and the second group of episodes are set to air sometime around October 2011.
